Szymon Ostrowski

Managing Director

Szymon joined Newport Logistics Fund in 2021 as Managing Director in order to set up and run the fund’s operations in Poland and Europe.

Previously, Szymon worked at the Haitong investment bank, where as the Executive Director he was responsible for structuring and implementing various transactions in the field of investment banking (M&A, DCM, ECM and structured finance), as well as in the private equity fund SINO-CEEF, where he was responsible for the CEE region, including fundraising, searching for investment transactions and relations with the governments of CEE countries. Previously, Szymon had also worked at ICBC bank, where he had been responsible for business development in the CEE region, and at Citi bank, where he had worked in various areas of corporate banking in Poland, London and the CEE region.

Szymon studied at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University and Warsaw School of Economics in Poland as well as Henley Business School in Great Britain.

Anna Mania

Finance Manager

Anna joined Newport Logistics Fund in February 2023 as Finance Manager.

Prior to that, she was working in Swiss bank Safra Sarasin, law firm SSW Pragmatic Solutions, as Manager in Family Office, in Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy as senior financial control specialist and in companies from the development industry, as a financial director. Anna was also a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Advertising and co-lecturer on SWSP University.

Anna has studied finance and accounting in Warsaw School of Economics, psychology and English philology on SWPS University.

Aleksandra Darczuk

Aleksandra Darczuk

Fund Administrator

Aleksandra has joined Newport Logistics Fund 2022 as a Fund Administrator. She focuses on fund’s operations.

Previously, she worked at Citi bank, where she was handling investment funds transactions and process improvements inside the organization’s middle office department. Previously, she also worked at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), where she was responsible for organizing conferences.

Aleksandra studied at University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economics and at Warsaw School of Economics.

Joanna Ostrowska

Office Assistant

Joanna has joined Newport Logistics Fund in September 2023 as Office Assistant. Previously, she worked at CBRE, where she was gaining the experience by working in real estate, resulting in best-in-class performance for client service. Previously, she also worked in Publishing Group Foksal, where she was responsible for a translation of a book.

Joanna studies in Centre for Foreign Language Teacher Training and Education of The University of Warsaw. In 2021 she defended a bachelor’s degree in teaching foreign languages.
