Daniel Raemy

Member of the International Board of Advisors

Daniel has joined the Newport Logistics Fund in September 2022, he is Member of the International Board of Advisors & Investment Committee.

For the last 13 years, Daniel has been working for Bank J. Safra Sarasin, a leading Swiss private bank. As the CEO of J. Safra Sarasin Polska, he has successfully established the bank position on the Polish market. During this time, he has built up a wide network among Polish entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Before joining Bank J. Safra Sarasin in 2009, he had worked at UBS AG for 17 years, where he held several positions within private banking in Switzerland and then in Poland. Daniel studied at KV Zurich Business School in Switzerland and he holds a diploma of Certified International Wealth Manager CIWM from AZEK, Switzerland.

Doris Pittlinger

Member of the International Board of Advisors

Doris Pittlinger, based in Munich, is a recognized leader in European real estate fund management with over 20 years of experience. She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an active participant in “Leading Ladies in Real Estate” (Lenkerinnen).

As Managing Director of Invesco Asset Management Deutschland GmbH (IAMD), Doris oversaw fund management for 21 mandates, representing €15 billion in assets across various sectors, including office, logistics, retail, residential, and hotels. She managed a Pan-European team of 24 professionals, focusing on investment strategies, ESG integration, and organizational optimization. Additionally, she was part of Invesco’s European Executive Committee and chaired the Steering Committee.

Doris holds a degree in Immobilienökonomie (Real Estate Economics) from the European Business School in Munich.

Jean Lavieille

Member of the International Board of Advisors

Jean Lavieille, based in Paris, is a highly experienced real estate and fund management professional with over 25 years in the industry. He served as Deputy CEO at AEW Europe, where he played a key role in developing modern real estate investment strategies across Europe. Since retiring in 2015, Jean has remained active in the field as a Senior Advisor to AEW until 2022 and as an Independent Director for Frey and Batilease.

During his time at AEW, Jean was instrumental in structuring, raising, and managing various funds, including the Logistis Fund, which is a €5 billion Pan-European logistics development fund aimed at long-term institutional investors. He also oversaw investment policies and fund management operations, significantly contributing to AEW’s success as a leader in the real estate sector.

Jean holds a degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) in Toulouse and has completed further education at Sciences Po-IFA.

Will Rowson

Member of the International Board of Advisors

Will Rowson, based in London, is a commercial real estate expert and founder of Newland Capital Partners. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Investment Property Forum. With over 35 years of experience in global real estate, Will is a seasoned expert in investment strategy and equity fundraising.

Will founded Newland Capital Partners in 2022, advising European real estate groups on investment strategies and equity raising. Previously, he was CEO of Global Student Accommodation (GSA) and an Equity Partner at Hodes Weill & Associates, where he raised over $2 billion for global real estate managers. Earlier, he served as EMEA Chief Investment Officer at CBRE Investment Management based in The Netherlands and chaired the EMEA Investment Committee from 2008 to 2015.

Will earned an Honours degree in Estate Management from the University of the West of England and completed the Senior Executive Programme at IMD in 2009.

Richard Apfelbacher

Richard Apfelbacher, based in Zurich, is the Managing Partner at Loumar IM Switzerland AG. With over 25 years of investment experience, including a decade as a shareholder and Managing Partner of Sienna Investment Managers’ real estate arm (formerly L’Etoile Properties before its sale to Sienna in 2021), Richard has established himself as a leader in real estate investment and business development.

During his tenure, he transacted on real estate assets valued at more than €3 billion and, as CIO, oversaw group-wide AuM growth exceeding € 6bn, leading business development efforts across Europe, the Middle East, and South Korea. Following the sale of L’Etoile Properties, he launched a real estate fund business for Sienna and established Sienna’s Swiss representative office in Zurich of which he is the sole shareholder today. . Prior to joining Sienna, Richard gained valuable experience at MPC Capital in Hamburg, Colliers International in Mexico City and Colliers Capital in London.

Richard is a banker by training and holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Investment and Finance from the University of Reading.
